A prophecy arose, of the storm that would end all They warned it would come with death and despair With the apocalypse inevitable, prepare for mortality No time to fortify the storm is here It came with ice wind and snow freezing everything in its wake The fortunate ones died early for the days to come were unbearable A continuous fight for survival as animal insticts return Collect essentials and find a place to stay these were my priorities I don't want to die here, not like this, but I fear the end is near The arctic temperatures make it hard gather supplies but I am on my last log, I won't survive. Trudging through the cold my body is numb, what am I doing alive? Staggering back to shelter, the weather is too brutal, there I lie As the strong winds whip my frostbitten skin I see nothing but darkness, void of life, have I died? I want to awake from this nightmare, tonight Do not deny me this right, the right to life (acoustic break) I awoke to a blinding light, where am I? I walked out of a cave into a frozen tundra, I survived A landscape of ice, words cannot describe Was I a lone survivor, or are there more?

The falling leaves mark the changing of the seasons Too soon for me I fear I’m unprepared Clouded skys and red horizon as the sun sets The fog comes pouring through the trees Once calm waters now thrash violently around This is only the beginning The sleepless nights to come, awake and shivering cold Perennial torture, that could shatter the soul Inhabitable lands, home to no one A dead zone on the earth, how has this been done before Dawning my furs I close my eyes This fire that I build burns brightly in the night Its warmth ill miss in the coming months The flames flicker off the barren trees, taunting Illuminating mist that surrounds me Fallen leaves lay only to decay Scattered reminders of these dreadful days The sleepless nights to come, awake and shivering cold Perennial torture, that could shatter the soul Inhabitable lands, home to no one A dead zone on the earth, how has this been stood before Dawning my furs I close my eyes Exiled on this unforgiving plain Years of survival have taken their toll I wish this torment on no man Thoughts in my mind make no sense Emotion nor language exist Only primal instinct The will to survive

as water becomes ice so rivers cease flow the gears of time corrode contemplation of infinity beyond me the fringe of nothingness hopeless breath frozen in the air become forgotten words never to be heard a shrill wind only remains engulfed with whispers of ruin the hourglass cracked, sands expire temporary is existence and swift is the end forever extinguishing the song of the soul fighting demise with no avail relinquishing the spirit relapse into nihility time, the anguish of it torn from in it an instant. this era's, events are tragic life valued as an object. aeon, of a universe cold worthless names will be forgotten. epoch, of nothing begins lost is the hope of revival. once bound, by these limits stellar chaos erupts. the sun, reduced to ashes brings the sky into black. the end, if one does exist how could there be forever. oceans of stars colide the destruction lights the sky all matter concentrated into one explosion dispurses lifes fragments reassembly imopossible as this light fades black is the void that holds all forgotton with time forgotton is time
